Copenhagen adds even more bike routes

Copenhagen has proudly opened—and begun bragging about—its latest dedicated bikeway, connecting several existing routes to make a complete loop around the city’s inner harbor.

The Harbor Circle, as the new route is called, will not only benefit sightseers and recreational riders, it will open up new routes for bicycle commuters, and that’s something Copenhagen is serious about. Long ranked as one of the world’s best “cycle cities,” it can now claim that 55% of its commuters travel by bicycle.

City officials are now bragging about how many places the news was featured and how many people have seen the videos of the opening. If you’d like to see the video they’re bragging has been seen by 50 million…well, here it is.
