Airlines never stop surprising these days...dropping an odd fee here, restoring snacks there...and now Delta has announced that starting July 1st, its Delta Studio inflight entertainment package will be free for all passengers, not just those in the premium seats.
Delta says that this will make it the only U.S. airline to provide completely free entertainment to all passengers. The Studio program includes music, movies and TV shows drawn from a library of 300 movies, 750 TV shows, 2,400 songs, 18 channels of live TV and a variety of games.
On planes that don't have individual entertainment sets, passengers will be able to stream the offerings to personal devices.
