Delta NY-BOS shuttle changes planes and LGA terminals

Starting in November, Delta’s NY-Boston hourly shuttle operation is moving from the Marine Air Terminal, Laguardia’s old terminal for the Pan Am flying boats of the 30s to Delta’s main terminal at the far end of the field. It will no longer be able to claim its shuttle operates from the closest terminal to Manhattan (by maybe 5-10 minutes?) but it will be able to make in-terminal connections to 64 more Delta cities.

The flights will also shift from using E175 regional jets to Boeing B717s that Delta acquired from AirTran when that carrier merged with Southwest. For now, shuttle operations between LGA and Washington and LGA and Chicago will stay at the Marine terminal. DELTA’S ANNOUNCEMENT
