Disney and Now Universal To Open Amusement Parks in China

According to the Beijing City Government,Universal Studios and a Chinese partner will open a movie theme park in Beijing in 2019 that will cost over 3 billion dollars. They will follow Disney to China who is building a $5.5 billion dollar theme park and resort complex in Shanghai’s Pudong district which opens next year.

In 18 months movie screens in China went from 13,185 to 22,000 making them the second largest film box office in the world after the US.
