The Disney empire, which seems to be almost as much a travel and resort company as it is a studio and park operator, has another new plan: change river cruising from an older-adult activity to a family plan.
Adventures by Disney, which provides “immersive adventures” for families in 30 destinations, has teamed with AmaWaterways, to start family-friendly week-long Danube River cruises, using a new Ama ship that’s built for families, with different kinds of public spaces, and also with connecting cabins to accommodate familes. Like the Disney Cruise Line, it could be a game-changer.
