Dulles Airport goes kid-friendly

Washington’s Dulles Airport just got a new tower, and it’s not the one that’s directing planes in and out. Instead, it’s Tommy Tower, paired with Orville Squirrel, as the highlights of the airport’s new children’s play area.

The area, designed for kids under 12 (with parental supervision) is aviation-themed, with luggage and tires set up as climbing territory, and aviation facts for kids as part of the wall decor.

In addition to the active play equipment, the area, located near Gate B70, has game consoles with more than 100 games available—and since it’s a very international airport, the games come in 6 languages.
