For Sale: The ultimate private jet

If the picture above doesn't look like any plane you've flown on, that's no surprise—it's one of four specially-equipped 747s built for the division of Qatar Airways that's responsible for flying the Qatari royal family and its guests. And it can be yours, for only a few hundred million.

Yes, the Qatari royals are cutting back. They gave one of these planes as a gift to the President of Turkey in 2015; after selling this one through Swiss aircraft customizer AMAC Aerospace, they will be down to only two custom 747 Boeing Business Jets. And a mere handful of custom A320, A330 and A340 planes.

According to AMAC, which installed all the luxury fittings in 2015 and whose watermark appears in all the available photos, the plane is in like-new condition, having flown just over 1000 flight hours in five years. Price is not listed, but the plane has a list price of $420 million, and that's before the posh seats and padded walls go in, along with the executive bedroom and the rest.

If you're a serious buyer (LOL) or just want to see some more outrageous pictures, you can see them at The Points Guy.

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations
