A few years ago I had the pleasure of visiting San Francisco. I had visited this city a few times before, but this was the first time I was there at Christmas time. San Francisco is a beautiful city throughout the year, but more so at Christmas time with stunning decorations greeting you wherever you go.
I happened upon Union Square, and saw this magnificent Christmas Tree in the center of that square. I discovered that this tree was generously donated by Macy’s, an American department store chain.
This year celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Macy’s giving this lovely annual holiday gift to the city of San Francisco.
