Today's highlighted photos are of Thailand’s Phi Phi islands – countless fortress-like small islands situated between Phuket and the mainland. These islands have been slowly and beautifully carved by crystal clear and mostly calm sea water (except for a rare tsunami temper tantrum). The shapes of these islands are striking, many having a narrow eroded base with a broader top.
While on Phi Phi island, we enjoyed watching this monkey eat a piece of water melon a friendly tourist offered to him!
