Time seems to have taken a break on this clock which tops the historic 1680 Skogaholm manor house at Stockholm's Skansen outdoor museum and park. And that's not a bad idea for visitors, either. Skansen, which first opened on one of Stockholm's islands late in the 19th century is a fascinating place for adults and children alike.
Combining historic houses, farms, churches and more from all over Sweden with an active zoo and amusement park, as well as restaurants and concerts, it can easily absorb a whole day or a weekend. Many of the exhibits include costumed interpreters. For a bigger view of Skansen, click HERE.
