Hotels in Rio de Janeiro are reinforcing their security arrangements for the World Cup after violence in recent weeks near the tourist hotspot of Copacabana .Clashes have been between police and members of a favela community .

Also,the British Foreign Office has recently produced a list of tips and safety advice for British nationals traveling to the World Cup
