I've often wondered about some of the movies and videos I've seen: "How would that play out on a plane...especially not knowing who might be sitting next to my "private" seatback screen. So it was interesting to learn from Megan Snedden's blog yesterday in USA Today that, in effect, there are no rules.
Instead, each airline's inflight-entertainment staff works with the providers to come up with what they think will be acceptable to their passengers. That means that on European flights, there might be a tad more nudity and a tad less violence; for the Middle East, pork may be off the screen as well as off the menu, etc. The blog is worth a read!
