A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of visiting Virginia City, Nevada. I had never been to this area of Nevada before, so I was excited to explore this new territory. Well, the excitement began even before I exited my vehicle, for as I was pulling into a parking lot, in the near vicinity were four wild horses.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing, for I had never experienced an encounter like this before.
The horses casually strolled along the city boulevards, streets, and parking lots.
What amazed me more is how nonchalant the locals were with these large animals amongst them.
Then I realized that to the local residents of Virginia City, seeing wild horses in their area is probably as common as seeing deer, moose or bears in my hometown district of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.
While visiting Virginia City I saw many interesting things, but what fascinated me the most were the wild horses I saw upon my arrival.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing these beautiful animals, and I hope you did to.
