Canoes, Lake Louise

These photos of the canoes were taken at the end of the day, after the boat house where you rent them had closed.  Staff pull the canoes from the lake and stack them each evening.

The image of the canoes framed by Mt. Victoria, its glaciers and the lake is one of the most iconic of the Canadian Rockies.  The beauty of the place never ceases to impress me.
