Lyon sets comic-strip record at 1.6km

When you think of a "long-running comic strip," what usually comes to mind is something like Peanuts, that's been around forever.

But Lyon and Barcelona art students just created one in a few days, and set a world record, by putting together a 1.6km-long strip of drawings, telling the story of a young girl who is able to travel in time with a magic pen.

They beat out last year's New York record-holder by over 400 meters, and are hoping to be recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records...before those New Yorkers start doodling again.
