March 20, 2016: Lincoln Center, NYC

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts was one of Robert Moses’ urban renewal projects in NYC. It replaced 4 complete city blocks of housing. The picture above is the fountain and the Metropolitan Opera House, one of 7 theaters in the center. The other two main theaters are the David Koch Theater, home of the American Ballet Theater, and the David Geffen Hall, home of the NY Philharmonic.
