Entry to Mission Island Marsh, Thunder Bay

Located off the shore of Lake Superior is an interesting conservation area known as Mission Island Marsh.  The shallow water and aquatic plants of Mission Island Marsh are vital to the survival of assorted waterfowl.

There’s a short boardwalk you can explore which gives you nice elevated views of the area — especially interesting to avid bird-watchers — but I found the entry sign very interesting.
