Milan opens new Prada art cente

The name you usually associate with high fashion also has a long history with art. Prada has now funded a huge new arts complex in a former industrial site in Milan’s Porta Romano suburb. The new complex, which is intended to host arts events as well as exhibitions and to give a boost to contemporary artists, opened May 9th.

Designed by Rem Koolhaus of OMA, the site includes 19,000 sq. meters of exhibit space, along with spots for dining. More information from the Telegraph (UK)…click HERE.
