New scratch-off map for Ontario parks

MapArt, a major Canadian map publisher, has taken a leaf from the lottery industry to create a unique new map that will raise funds for Ontario's Provincial Parks.

The map overlays a detailed map of the province and its many parks with the kind of scratch-off material that covers the numbers on lottery tickets. Buyers of the $29.95 map can use it either to record where they've been or to research future trips—or just for fun.

One dollar of each sale will go to the park system, which helps fund over 300 provincial parks, ranging from real wilderness to pleasant picnic groves throughout the province.
