The penguin caper mirrors a similar escape attempt in the cartoon feature Madagascar, though the real penguins lacked the walkie-talkies and other equipment of their cartoon counterparts. And, the real penguins gave themselves away by leaving footprints in the snow. When zoo employees cornered them at the end of a hallway, they spun around and ran the other way. Must be seen!
