While in Munich last summer, we took a 3-day road trip to Vienna. On the way back we stopped and spent a few minutes checking out part of Chiemsee Lake. It is located near Rosenheim Germany and apparently often called the Bavarian Sea. It was beautiful to spent a few minutes checking it out, but the rain started coming so we took a few more pictures then headed out again. Glad we stopped even if we did get a little wet, lol. If you are in the area, it is a great place to stop or stay. There is a huge recreation area near the lake.
