While leaving Montreal, I took some photos of the reflection of the beautiful Mary, Queen of the World Cathedral. The church has a very interesting history and was built as a scale model of Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome.
Not only is the church beautiful, but the building that the reflection was on, at Le 1000 de la Gauchetière, is pretty impressive too. The office building features a year-round ice skating rink and a food court.
I'll check out the church and the building on my next visit. The photo of the reflection is a good reminder for me to always keep my eyes open for interesting places, even on my way out of town.
