Royal Caribbean is trying out a new idea. Instead of a massive dining room to which you're assigned a table and seats for dinner, you'll have a choice from five dining rooms with a variety of cuisines ranging from Chinese to a steakhouse. The new dining concept will be rolled out on the "Quantum of the Seas" later this year. An app will be available to help you make reservations at your preferred eatery.
I'm all for giving travelers more options, and like the idea for those who enjoy cruising. More on this story here.
