Scandinavian carrier SAS will start three new direct routes to the USA next year, with daily flights between Stockholm and Los Angeles from March 14, and three-times weekly flights between Oslo and Miami, and Copenhagen and Miami, from autumn 2016.

Additionally, SAS will launch a new Stockholm-Hong Kong service next month and will operate daily Stockholm-Chicago and Copenhagen-Shanghai flights this winter.

President and CEO of SAS, Rickard Gustafson, said: “These new direct routes together with the renewal of our long-haul fleet and our broad network, mean we have far and away the strongest offer between Scandinavia and the US.”

It appears part of a continuing trend of Scandanavian carriers expanding their route maps.  More on this story from businesstraveler.com at this link.
