A little uncertain, I thought, as the young lamb looked my way. As if it were wondering why I was staring. Or was that me projecting feelings on it?
We encountered these sheep in a field at Abbotsbury, in Dorset, England, while on our way to visit the Abbotsbury Swannery. Of course, they didn't care about that; aside from a curious stare at us, they didn't bother to interrupt their naps or their grazing.
Any attention is pure coincidence...this is a long-enough telephoto shot that they probably didn't see me at all!
