Shindaiji Temple, Katsuyama City, Japan

Shindaiji Temple is in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture,  Japan. It is home to Echizen Daibutsu, the biggest Buddha Statue in Japan in the sitting position. The Temple was built in 1987 by a local man, Kiyoshi Tada. He  built a taxi cab empire in Osaka and came back to build the Temple.
