You can buy a refurbished Moto X for Republic Wireless for $199. The white color ones are still available when I last checked.

One of the big stories this past year in no contract budget smartphone plans has been Republic Wireless. It offers hybrid calling, meaning the phones use WiFi as a default and they back it up with the Sprint cell network. One plan they offer now is unlimited wifi plus unlimited cell network calling and text at $10 a month. The phones they offer are the Moto X and Moto G. The Moto G starts at $149 and the Moto X starts at $299 making the refurbished ones a good deal.Here is more about the different plans they offer starting at $5 a month. You can also change plans free twice in a billing cycle.
