Snack Time for the Birds

Outdoor dining isn't strictly for the birds, but it might as well be.

As I've documented before in a number of places, leaving crumbs or leftovers is a ready invitation for feathered friends, and some of the bolder ones won't even wait for you to down forks.

These pictures feature some of the smaller birds and an abandoned big (by their scale, anyway) meal at a cafe in Tallinn. Not mine; I was at the next table, waiting for my lunch!

I have to admit that as I reviewed and prepared these pictures, that I hadn't previously noticed the fellow standing in the mayonnaise cup. He didn't seem to have any trouble leaving with the rest, but it must have been a sticky situation!
