March 13, 2018: Snow from the East… North Yorkshire.

A recent blast of cold eastern air has recently moved across Britain bringing dry snow and winds. This is a slightly unusual event as our weather normally heads in from the Atlantic. I grabbed the opportunity to capture some fresh snow images and headed for the hills !

Hillside, snow and tree lines.

The weather started as a “white out” blizzard, but within 5 minutes cleared to bright sunshine, which allowed me to shoot the following images of the Cleve land Hills in North Yorkshire.
