Seemingly out of place in today’s Paris, a rider rests on his horse outside the Bourse de Commerce, near Les Halles, now home to the Pinault Collection. It’s actually there as part of an upcoming exhibit of work by American sculptor Charles Ray.
Ray, who is “known for his strange and enigmatic sculptures that draw the viewer’s perceptual judgments into question in jarring and unexpected ways” is the subject of the sculpture as well as its creator.
And, apparently Ray’s 2014 work by Charles Ray was attracting too many riders…
