Street Art in Santa Fe

Santa Fe has as well-earned reputation for being an “artist’s town”.  For many decades artists have flocked to the city and many have established successful careers and galleries in Santa Fe. The best-known artist from the region is Georgia O’Keeffe, and the best-known area for art in town is Canyon Road where there are dozens of art galleries and boutiques, although you’ll find others scattered about the city.

Art is everywhere in Santa Fe. This post features some of the pieces we found interesting during our rambling about the city. Many photos were snapped outside of shops and galleries, while others are just random snapshots.

I thought the art on these cement barriers protecting the street-side seating in this restaurant were fun!

Brings back happy memories of our trip there a few years ago. We liked Taos too.
