Well, that's what the Queen does every summer, going off to her country digs. When she's away, ticketed tours of Buckingham Palace are available to the public. This year, there's a twist: an interactive escape game in the Queen's Gallery, where royal paintings are on display.
Currently, the gallery is hosting a Leondardo da Vinci exhibit, and that will provide the theme for the escape room, labeled Leonardo Artmergency. Teams will be tasked to find a missing curator by solving various puzzles and mysteries. Officials say a knowledge of Da Vinci's work is not needed, only sharp wits.
The experience will be available on Fridays and Saturdays through October 5. Admission, per team of four to eight people, is £150.
