An area of Switzerland popular with hikers and bikers is installing fences and warning signs to keep them safe from aggressive cows protecting calves.
The plan, in the Flims-Laax-Falera area of Grissons canton, developed after a 77-year-old German woman was knocked to the ground and trampled last year. Other attacks took place in 2014 and 2012.
The regional tourist map has long included warnings about the cows, but now fences will be installed at critical points. For more information, from TheLocal.ch, click HERE.
