Terminal Envy: New United SFO T3 heats it up

Seems like every day there's a new airport upgrade in the works; some of it is just overdue, and some reflects the new competitive arena now that there are only three big "legacy" carriers. Unlike point-to-point carriers like Virgin America or JetBlue, they need to attract ongoing passengers, and new terminals are part of passenger's choices. United's new T3E at SFO comes at a time when Los Angeles, SF and Seattle are competing for bigger shares of the growing Pacific market as well. MORE
