Our visit to Costa Rica's Pacific coast was limited to the region around Manuel Antonio National Park. We did a walking tour of the park, which is rather small, and our sharp-eyed guide spotted the best camouflaged bird I've ever seen. It was sitting quietly in the litter of the jungle floor and blended in perfectly. Even knowing where it was supposed to be, it took me some time to actually spot it. I never caught the name of the bird, but admired it's ability to blend in,.
