While visiting New York’s Finger Lakes Region, if you find yourself in
Watkins Glen, it’s breakfast time, and you’re hungry; make your way to 137 E 4th Street and Tobey’s Donut Shop.
The Facebook page says, “My Donuts are hand-made fresh, from scratch, each morning using the finest and most natural ingredients.”
I assume this is Tobey speaking.
And the man is not lying!
But the donuts are just the beginning. The restaurant offers a diverse breakfast menu that caters to all tastes. And the best part? It’s served by the friendliest staff and waiters.
After my nutritious breakfast, I had to, of course, try a donut. With so many to choose from, the choice was difficult, but I ended up with a mint chocolate chip.
It simply melted in my mouth.
It’s easy to recommend Tobey’s Donut Shop and the fantastic food and staff.
There’s nothing more American than a good donut shop!!
