Two small cruise lines adding ships

Two small cruise lines with well-known names are growing with the addition of new ships that double current offerings.

Margaritaville at Sea, which helps cruisers search for that "lost shaker of salt" that founder Jimmy Buffett sang about, has launched a second ship, Margaritaville at Sea Islander, with a ceremony that replaced the traditional bottle of champagne with pitchers of margaritas. Buffett died last year; his daughter Savannah took part in the ceremony.

In a more serious part of the cruise world, Lindblad Expeditions, which partners with National Geographic, has added two more ships to its existing two-ship Galapagos fleet. The two vessels, which each have room for about 48 and 16 passengers, were purchased from Celebrity Cruises and will get new names after some renovations and updates.

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations
