Universal Studios Florida was built on swamp land and opened in 1990. It is a theme park and studios. Most of the rides and attractions are movie related and several of the rides have the original actors reprising their roles in some way. In recent years the park has attracted over 10 million visitors.
I’m not a huge fan of amusement parks but I did appreciate the way it looked and watching people enjoy themselves. Transformers: The Ride was very well done and the entire Simpsons Land was neat to see. I also liked the recreation of a 50’s Diner.
It will be interesting to go again in the future when the park opens and see the changes they will have to make. Until that time, I will look back at all the excitement and hustle and bustle of the crowds with a new appreciation.
