The Trail Lakes are on the Kenai Peninsula, adjacent to the Seward Highway which connects Anchorage with Seward. The Lakes are near the village of Moose Pass.

We stopped at a turnout to take in a view of the lake and the mountains that surround it. A beautiful Alaskan scene!
