Virgin America flies into crowded Hawaii skies

Virgin America says its loyal customers have been asking for more Hawaii, and the airline is responding by adding new flights to both Honolulu and Maui from its Los Angeles hub. The airline started serving those two routes from its San Francisco home late last year.

The new flights will start in early summer, and will allow Virgin America to connect more of its cities with Hawaii flights. Similar routes are also available from American, Delta, United, Hawaiian and ultra-low-cost carrier Allegiant.
