Visa Inc. Report Shows Power of World Cup

According to the 2nd installment of a Visa Inc report that analyzes Visa credit,debit and prepaid cards ,the total spend by international travelers on Visa accounts through the Group Stage (June 12 through June 26) hit US $188 Million Dollars. Smaller Brazilian cities, that hosted World Cup tournament games, realized some of the most significant increases in spending by international travelers.Overall, there was a 152 percent increase year-over-year on international Visa accounts
