This is my first crack at creating this picture puzzle, and I have to admit it's not that easy finding a photo will be somewhat challenging but solvable. I picked this one to start with; It's certainly a lovely setting.

Here again are the simple rules: Answers need to be specific ("It's Frank Lloyd Wright's Robie House in Chicago," not "Chicago."). Post your answer as a comment at the end of the blog; correct answers will be posted every Tuesday with more information about the picture and region.

Wasn't that ship sold to be a hotel in Hong Kong? the scene looks kinda right for that. One of the Queens, I think.

That looks like the magnificent RMS Queen Mary, moored at her final resting berth at Long Beach, California. A lovely photo if I may add, Dr. F, very nicely taken.
