Palmettos and Spanish Moss.  I'd say we're in the Southeastern USA.  But which of the many small towns?

Time for another clue!

Looks like the Gulf south to me. Mississippi, Alabama, or Louisiana? At first I thought it might be where To Kill a Mockingbird was film, but that's not it. Hmmm? My neck of the woods for sure. 

Could be where "Fried Green Tomatoes" was filmed. 

Great guesses! I'll give a few answers. It is in the Southeast USA, but not Mississippi, Alabama, or Louisiana . And it wasn't used in filming  "Fried Green Tomatoes." The movie did though come out in the 90's.

No ones guessed the town yet, so time for another clue. For you movie buffs, this below place played a prominent role in  90's movie that was filmed there, although not as a antique store.

There's a lot of history to this town and I'm hopeful a correct guess will come in, but time is running out. Here's another clue!

Hmmm. I am stumped but still puzzling. Must think through southeast films from the 1990s. I don't recognize the buildings but the landscape is so familiar. 

Ok. How about Georgia? Could it be Where Forest Gump was filled? 

 Georgia is not the Southeastern state in question. And  Forrest Gump was not filmed there, although parts of that movie were filmed in Savannah.
