After a week in the desert left behind by the shrinking Salton Sea, Gumbo finds himself in a plusher locale this week...but not one without intimations of mortality as it were...

Take your time and check the clues carefully; except for today there will be two a day (yes, even on Wednesday) and they will become more explicit as the week wears on.

Follow the rules below for guesses, but feel free to ask me questions as we go, and I will answer them within the limits of the game...Good luck!
