Surf’s up—and this hotel follows it!

It might just be a surfer’s dream: a hotel on the best surfing beaches, wherever they are this week. It’s Portugal’s Truck Surf Hotel, with room for 10, and built on a truck chassis so it can follow the waves.

It’s the brainchild of a young couple who spent several years traveling Portugal and Morocco in a campervan, and decided to expand the concept and invite customers. The pair largely built the hotel themselves.

The 19-ton truck is two stories when open for business, but collapses to one for transit. Opened out, it  has upper-deck sleeping space for ten, and a living room, bathroom, shower and kitchen on the lower deck.
