A Butterfly Garden in Guapiles

The displays started with examples of butterflies during their various stages of development, including as caterpillars and pupa.

We had a chance to see our first golden-silk orbweaver spider.  This large lovely specimen was a female; males are much smaller and much less colorful.

The garden also had a nice assortment of tropical flora, some of the blossoms being quite lovely.
