Genghis Kahn

This incredible monument to Genghis Khan is located 30 miles out of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’s capital.
It’s a stainless steel statue of the man himself astride his war horse.
The whole construction is 130 Feet high and rises out of the steppe to face east, to ward off former enemies.
He was responsible for the slaughter of 40 million people.
Genghis Khan was the founder and Great Khan of the Mongol Empire, which became the largest empire in history. He came to power by uniting many of the nomadic tribes of Northeast Asia. b. May 31, 1162, – d. August 25, 1227.
