Another delightful village in the Alsace region.
St. Josaphat Basilica, Milwaukee
DrFumblefinger visits the beautiful St. Josaphat Basilica in Milwaukee’s South Side. The church was built by and for Polish immigrants in the late 19th century and reflects the loving care incorporated by the hands who constructed and care for it.
One of my favorite spots in Alsace!
Always a mandatory stop on our numerous drives down the Route des Vins d’Alsace. Besides the fascinating old town main street is their delicious macaroons sold in numerous places. One place has an open window where you watch them make these delicious treats. My photo below is the place on the main street with the open window location. Yummm.
