A really good zoom lens can take us into the action - without leaving our seat. Pity they wont stop and pose for a Pic at 200mph !

I was having lunch in Mdina. Our waiter was a boy about 8 years old. He asked if I'd ever seen a train. "Of course I have. Maybe 4 a day" "When I save enough to leave Malta I want to see a train" he said. Then he asked my Mother in Law if she was my sister. She slipped him a few dollars. He'll soon have enough - I thought - to see a train - even at 8.

We wore our full foulies (foul weather gear) and PFDs (personal flotation devices - life jackets). This was on a day when the America's Cup race was cancelled due to conditions. Our fleet can report that neither boat nor crew were lost. " Semper Paratus "
