Whether landowners are in favor or not, public access to footpaths and other rights-of-way are protected by law in the UK in perpetuity. Any landowner who tries to fence them off or otherwise deny access will soon find an angry mob of activists helping them correct their "mistake". http://www.environmentlaw.org.uk/rte.asp?id=207 Lovely photo!

The name Dewi is most famously borne by the patron saint of Wales, Saint David - Welsh: Dewi Sant, Road sign English and Welsh The other famous Dewi is one of three cartoon ducks. Hewy -Dewi and Louis.

Carew Castle is an imposing stone structure in southern Wales (Pembrokeshire) adjoining a 23 acre millpond.  It's frequently wet and has a lot of sheep around it.
